Purullena – Cave Museum

Purullena is an agricultural and traditional municipality, known for its large number of cave dwellings. It has one of the most important archaeological sites in the province, many of them located in the Archaeological Museum of Granada.

The cave-museum “La Inmaculada” contains a large Ethnological Museum, with a varied exhibition of antique utensils, tools, furniture, curiosities, photographs, etc.. All of this has been collected by the inhabitants of the villages of the region of Guadix.
