Lentegí is a typical Andalusian town of 333 inhabitants, with steep and narrow streets, situated on the south side of the Almijara Mountains. The municipality belongs to the Tropical Coast of Granada, situated at 65 km. from the capital, at 38 km. from Motril and 18 km. from Almuñécar. This small town is situated at an altitude of 621 metres, at the Tropical Valley of Río Verde.
The area of Guardajamas is a non-urban area located about 2 km from the town, formed by a group of country houses, farms and even a spring of water, used to irrigate in the whole town. This area, now in ruins, is backed by a set of lush mountains full of vegetation, and can be an ideal location for all kind of shootings.
To access to the village from Granada, you should take the Sierra Nevada-Costa Tropical A-44 highway and take the Padul – Otívar exit. You can also access to the town from Almuñécar through the N-340 road (Bailén-Motril).
Access by car is available.
