FILM IN GRANADA HELPS YOU MANAGE YOUR FILMING PROJECTS IN OUR PROVINCE
Marchal is a municipality of 414 inhabitants located in the region of Guadix, in a meadow irrigated by the rivers that flow down from the northern slopes of Sierra Nevada. It is a physical area declared Natural Park whose boundaries are very close to it, located on the Granada Geopark.
This small village settled in the northern valleys of the Nasrid city, is surprising for its spectacular scenery, with snowy peak mountains as a backdrop and a special town centre, with numerous cave dwellings.
Located within the town is the landscape known as “Cárcavas de Marchal”, made up of a clay massif with gully shapes of outstanding beauty whose origin is the result of the erosive action of the water. Historically, this massif was used for the creation of cave houses where the inhabitants of the village used to live. It has been classified as a Natural Monument.
