Lentegí is a typical Andalusian town of 333 inhabitants, with steep and narrow streets, situated on the south side of the Almijara Mountains. The municipality belongs to the Tropical Coast of Granada, situated at 65 km. from the capital, at 38 km. from Motril and 18 km. from Almuñécar. This small town is situated at an altitude of 621 metres, at the Tropical Valley of Río Verde.
The narrow and zigzagging street, with white-walled courtyards covered with flowers and a typically Andalusian structure, can be used as a unique location for any kind of cinema, television or advertising project.

To access to the village from Granada, you should take the Sierra Nevada-Costa Tropical A-44 highway and take the Padul – Otívar exit. You can also access to the town from Almuñécar through the N-340 road (Bailén-Motril).
Some of the streets have pedestrian access.
