Güéjar Sierra – Forest

Güéjar Sierra is located in the southeastern part of the Vega de Granada, 26 kilometers from the capital of Granada. It is a beautiful mountain village, which serves as a starting point for the main medium and high mountain trails that climb to Sierra Nevada.

The urban center is divided into three steeply sloping neighborhoods that still preserve the typical mountain architecture of Granada, with narrow streets and numerous fountains.

Its environment leaves places like the Forest of the Hotel del Duque, a beautiful forest of chestnut trees that acquire their maximum beauty in autumn, when the ochre and yellows decorate the trees and the deciduous leaves carpet the ground.
