Lanjarón – Park

El Parque El Salao (the Salty Park) owes its name to the ferruginous waters that cut it through in the shape of a creek. This park is considered to be the lung of the municipality of Lanjarón thanks to its different species eucalyptus population. The park is owned by the Town Hall of Lanjarón.

On the back of the park we can find a picnic area where the natural and watery sounds make it even a more enjoyable place. Behind the picnic area is the beginning of a path that leaves the park and takes us to the Arab castle dating from the thirteenth century.
