Granada – University Campus

Andalucían Ministry of Health built the first building of the European Business and Innovation Centre, the first stone of which was laid in 2001. In the following years, the construction of numerous buildings dedicated to Health, both public and private, began. From 2004 onwards, the site entered a new phase, becoming a Parque Tecnológico de la Salud (PTS) and the UGR Health Campus, the fifth university campus of the University of Granada in the capital of Granada.

The UGR Health Campus has several facilities, including the University Hospital, Faculties and teaching buildings, research centres and auxiliary and general service facilities. The Biosanitary Library, the Paraninfo and the Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences stand out for their contemporary architecture, together with the urban and landscape planning determined by the plan developed by Cruz & Ortiz Arquitectos. It also has multiple options for leisure and sporting activities.
