Fonelas – Viaduct

The Anchuron viaduct or railway bridge is located at kilometer 140.2 of the Almería-Linares railway line, in order to cross the River Fardes and the local road from Benalua to Fonelas. The project was promoted by the Southern Spain Iron Roads Company (Compañía de los Caminos de Hierro del Sur de España) and was built between the years 1893 and 1894, inaugurated in 1904. It is owned by ADIF.
