In the region of Baza, situated at the foot of the Jabalcón Hill, is the village of Zújar. A peaceful place, known throughout the region for its thermal baths. It also has a historic old town steeped in Moorish heritage. This municipality has served as a meeting point for cultures throughout its history, which is reflected in the Moorish neighbourhood.
The thermal spring of Zújar is a natural pool located next to the tail of the Negratín Reservoir, irrigated by the waters that emanate from the Jabalcón Hill. It is approximately 30 metres long and 12 metres wide, with a depth of up to 2 metres. Its formation is due to the large underground fractures that allows the hot water to rise to the surface, creating a natural pool with turquoise waters and a steaming surface that makes bathing possible at any time of the year as its temperature remains above 30 degrees.
The spring is surrounded by limestone mountains, badlands, pine forests on its slopes and the Negratín Reservoir, creating a spectacular views that can be enjoyed together with privileged sunsets.

This place is accessible by car, but the dirt road is quite uneven, so it is advisable to go down the asphalted ramp that leads to the location on foot.
