Almuñécar

Av. Europa, s/n, 18690 Almuñécar, Granada

Almuñécar is one of the most important archaeo-tourist destinations in Andalusia, where every corner contains the remains of the ancient history of the city. Its coastline is known by the brand name of Costa Tropical, a name in keeping with its extensive beaches, its climatic conditions and its exuberant tropical and subtropical vegetation. A unique combination in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as in the whole European continent.

The Najarra Small Palace has a monumental garden with a wide variety of plants, including magnificent cypress trees, with an artistically planned distribution that match with the layout of the corridors that divide it, as well as the materials used in its construction.
It was built in the neo-Arabic style at the same time as the sugar factory on surrounding land, which has been demolished. The small garden house was built at a later date. The building has a ground floor and an upper floor covered with a four-sided roof. Both have exteriors decorated in the neo-Arabic style.
