The Paseo del Señor de la Salud, located in the municipality of Santa Fe, is a tree-lined urban promenade dating back to 1859. It was designed in the style of a french boulevard, with a wide central pedestrian area flanked by large trees whose canopies provide shade along much of the promenade.
At the centre of the promenade stands a statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on a pedestal, while landscaped areas, benches and street lamps line both sides. The promenade is bordered by streets and residential buildings from different periods, including several examples of traditional architecture.
The promenade leads to the Ermita del Señor de la Salud, a religious building with a white façade and two small towers. Its interior features elaborate plasterwork, decorative elements and altarpieces, contrasting with the simplicity of the exterior.
