Santa Fe – Poplar Forest

The villages of El Jau and Pedro Ruiz, in the municipality of Santa Fe, are connected by a rural road that crosses a characteristic landscape of the Vega de Granada.

The route runs through farmland and an extensive poplar forest crossed by the Genil River and several irrigation channels. The presence of water among the trees creates flooded areas and reflections, shaping a distinctive riverside landscape.

The surroundings also feature rural paths and open spaces offering wide views of Sierra Nevada, bringing together poplar groves, water and the agricultural landscape typical of the Vega de Granada.
